 💗Mackerel Can Curry with  Okura





This cozy Japanese-style soup curry is super simple and packed with flavor. Just chop some boiled okra and simmer it with canned mackerel and tomatoes, then add water, curry powder, soy sauce, consomme, and a bit of salt. That’s it! It’s light, healthy, and perfect for a quick lunch or dinner when you want something warming and easy to digest.


💚INGREDIENTS   4 Serving

1  canned  mackerel

1  clove of  minced ginger

5   okura

1  Tbsp    sesame oil

1  packed (350ml)    tomato

200ml           water

A)  2 Tbsp   curry powder

     1/2  tsp  salt

      1  Tbsp   soy sauce

      1  cube consome


💛DIRECTIONS

1. Mince  the onion and the ginger.

2.Heat the sesame oil in a fring pan over medium-low heat. Add the minced garlic , stir-fry until the aroma comes out.Add the onionm stir-fry until it turns brown.Add the curry powder and the salt.Mix well.

3. Transfer 2 to the pot. Add the packed tomato. Cook until eliminate the sourness of the tomato.

4.Drain the water of the canned mackerel. Add the canned mackerel in a pot.

5.Cut the okura into 1cm long.

6.Add water (200ml)  and soy sauce and the consome cube and the okura in the pot. Simmer in low-heat for about 5 minutes.
