This Canned Mackerel and Kimchi Soup is a comforting Japanese daily soup packed with umami flavor. Made with mackerel, soy sauce, sesame, and ginger, it’s quick, healthy, and perfect for busy days.
💚INGREDIENTS 3 Serving
1 canned mackerel
1/2 green onion
A) 80g kimuchi
1 clove of ginger (grated)
2 cup water
1 Tbsp sake
1/2 Tbsp sugar
1/2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp ground sesame seeds
💛DIRECTIONS
1. Cut the green onion into 1cm wide diagonally.
Drain the liquid of the canned mackerel.
2.Heat the sesame oil in a pot.Add the green onion . Stir-fry lightly.AddA .Bring to a boil.
Add the canned mackerel.Simmer for a while.
3.Serve the soup in a serving bowl.
