💜Tips and Notes for the Salad :

Myoga is a unique Japanese summer vegetable that gives this salad a refreshing and slightly pungent flavor, making it more sophisticated and appealing for adult palates. While it’s at its peak in summer, you may still find it in stores in autumn. If myoga isn’t available, don’t worry—the salad will still be delicious without it, though adding it brings a distinct depth of flavor. Myoga is also known for potential health benefits, including aiding digestion, promoting circulation, and providing antioxidants.

Pea shoots are another common ingredient in Japan, offering a fresh, crisp texture and mild flavor. They are available year-round, but if you can’t find them, any leafy greens like lettuce, spinach, or arugula can work as a substitute. The chicken tenderloin adds protein and makes this salad satisfying and filling, so it can be enjoyed as a light lunch or a part of dinner. This combination of fresh vegetables, savory chicken, and creamy miso-mayo dressing creates a well-balanced, flavorful dish that is both nourishing and easy to prepare
