Chinese simmered tofu and shrimp (Japanese Daily Recipe)

 💗Chinese simmered tofu and shrimp







This Chinese simmered tofu and shrimp dish is a delicious, quick meal perfect for busy days. The combination of soft  tofu, juicy shrimp, and earthy shimeji  mushrooms in a flavorful sauce makes it a satisfying choice for lunch or dinner. 💚INGREDIENTS  3 Serving

1 chou  soft tofu

6  shrimp

little  salt

little   sake

1/2 pack  shimeji mushrooms

1/4(20cm)  green onion

1 Tbsp  potato starch

A) 1/2 cup  water

      1 Tbsp  sake

      1 tsp  chuka soup no moto (chinese soup stock)

B) 1 Tbsp potato starch

      2   Tbsp water

💛DIRECTION

1.Cut the stem of the shimeji mushrooms. Separate the shimeji mushrooms.Cut the green onion 1cm long diagonally.Peel the shell of the shrimp.Sprinkle little salt and sake.Coat with  potato starch.

2.Wrap the soft tofu with paper towel.Add the wrapped soft tofu in a heat-resistant container.Heat  in the microwave for 1 minutes.Cut the soft tofu into 2cm cube.

3.Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan.Afdd the shrimp.Stir-fry until cooked through.Add the green onion and the shimeji mushrooms. Stir-fry moreover.Add A .bring to a boil.Add the tofu.Simmer in low-heat for a while.Add B to thicken.

4.Arrange the dish in a serving bowl.


💜Cooking Tips:
If you don’t have Chinese soup stock granules, you can substitute them with other granular soup bases. Chicken stock granules work especially well as an alternative and still give the dish a rich, savory flavor.
